Barbershop interior concepts in Leeds

Design Process

How a Leeds unit moves from empty shell to fitted interior plan — consults from £320.

Measure before sketching

We start on site with a tape, laser, and notebook. Door swings, ceiling heights, wet stacks, and electrical boards go on the first drawing. Photographs support memory but never replace dimensions. If access needs a landlord key, we schedule around that rather than guessing.

A short consult from £320 covers a city-centre visit and a written note on constraints; it does not include a full package of drawings.

Concept chalkboard

Next comes a concept that feels like a menu: primary moves for chairs, waiting, finishes, and light. You see options side by side, not a single surprise reveal. Feedback is collected once per round so drawings stay coherent.

We stay inside interior design — branding copy and staff rotas are outside this studio.

Detailed drawings

Approved concepts become dimensioned plans, elevations, and finish schedules. Joiners and electricians can price from these sheets. We answer clarification questions during pricing; site instruction beyond an agreed number of hours is quoted separately.

Procurement support

On request we annotate chair and lighting dimensions, review contractor proposals for design fit, and visit once during install to catch layout drift. We do not negotiate trade discounts or run the build.

Handover notes

At the end you keep a tidy set of PDFs and a finish schedule. Care notes for timber and fabrics are included where relevant. Future small changes can reopen as a fresh mini-brief rather than an open-ended retainer.

Choosing a package

Most full interiors land on Package II or III. Single-topic courses (shop front only, waiting only) suit phased openings. Compare set menus on the pricing page.
